Sheila Abrahamsson
Sheila Abrahamsson brings over three decades of dynamic experience in program development, event production, community outreach and engagement, and fundraising. With a passion for both people and purpose, Sheila is a natural connector who has spent her career turning big ideas into meaningful action- designing initiatives that inspire, events that energize , and long-lasting partnerships.
In her role at TDK, Sheila will be instrumental in shaping the member experience from first inquiry through deep community involvement. She will respond to membership inquiries, introduce prospective members to lay and professional leadership, manage membership applications, and coordinate the membership renewal process, including High Holy Day seating and dues assistance. Sheila will maintain the membership database in ShulCloud, ensuring accuracy and timely updates. She will also coordinate synagogue programming, manage the calendar and oversee all aspects of event planning and logistics. As Volunteer Coordinator, she will organize and manage volunteers for events and initiatives and help manage follow-up to support ongoing engagement.
She will lead all communications and marketing efforts, including managing the website, social media, and newsletters. Sheila’s will ensure consistent, timely communication about programming and community opportunities, helping foster a vibrant, well-informed, and connected congregation.
